Airport Emergency Planning and Exercise Implementation

Objective: Students will: a) gain a greater understanding of the content, expectations and implementation of proper Emergency Planning
Techniques; b) develop proper inter-agency coordination and documentation; c) properly review and revise existing Emergency Plans; d)
gain the academic knowledge and practical skills to coordinate, conduct and document a full scale scenario exercise (EEX).
Remarks: This program is an intense "hands on" learning event. Students receive handouts as well as a comprehensive CD ROM
containing templates, forms, reference library and useful decision making tools.

appropriate
Prerequisites: Students should be assigned to positions as instructors within the civil aviation environment. A minimal working
knowledge of either English or French language is essential.
Remarks: Curriculum includes Background, Instructional techniques, classroom management, program management, concepts of
learning and instruction, testing and evaluation. Students learn to create, select and present AVSEC programs in an manner consistent
with ICAO standards and recommended practices.
Training for Trainers Workshop - Methods Class
Duration: 24 instructional hours
Objectives: Upon completion students will be better prepared to conduct professional training applying the principals of interactive learning,
correctly present validated materials and identify, select and prepare appropriate teaching aids. Students will be better able to identify the
appropriate instructional techniques for the materials, goals and objectives at hand.

Remarks: This is a methods workshop designed to assist Agency and Corporate Trainers develop and present materials in a professional,
interesting and understandable format. Ideal for anyone unfamiliar with teaching methods, procedures and practices.







Airside / Landside Basic Civil Aviation Security

Objectives:
This program is designed to provide Level I instruction to Airport Security Forces performing duties as the primary law
enforcement /security agency on site. Skills include: Access control, anti-sabotage procedures, passenger and baggage
screening and inter-agency cooperation. Students learn in an interactive, hands on environment, taking a learning by
doing approach to tasks and procedures.

Basic comprehension of English or French language Selection or candidate for Aviation Security Position
